Kitchen Completion

Are you hungry? If so you should come to my house because Mommy is baking up some really yummy things in her new kitchen. That's right, the job is complete with the exception of a couple small details. Mommy no longer has to go into the garage to make me dinner. The new kitchen looks very pretty and Mommy is super excited about it. Here are a few pictures of the transformation.

Fun in Seattle

Wow, we just arrived home from a really fun weekend in Seattle. Mommy and Daddy decided it was time for a short getaway so we left yesterday morning with our first stop at the Point Defiance Zoo. We had a good time although we still like the Woodland Park Zoo better. We did get to see lots of animals and we had a picnic in the park. The weather held out just long enough for us to complete our tour of the zoo. Here are a couple of pictures of the animals we saw.

These little lemurs were all huddled together trying to stay warm. It was a bit chilly outside.

Hey it's Mommy and Daddy.......Hee hee, don't tell them I said that!

Here I am riding the carousel at the zoo. I loved it!

After the zoo we drove back to Seattle and checked into the Hotel Edgewater. It was a beautiful place and we had a room with a balcony that hung over the water. I got to watch the boats and a big Canadian Naval ship that was docked nearby. The seagulls also became my friends after I accidentally dropped a piece of bread off the balcony. Did you know they will dive bomb you if you are not careful. Here are a few pictures of me at the hotel.
Breakfast on my balcony!

Here is my seagull friend that I fed!

This is the bear that they use as a footstool in the room but I thought it was way more fun to ride it! Giddy up lil' bear.

Here are the tugboats getting ready to pull the Canadian Navy Ship out. They went right past our room and I waved at the crew members.

Next stop was the Children's Museum. The Museum was so incredible and I was able to touch EVERYTHING without Mommy and Daddy saying, "No Andrew, Don't Touch!" It was so wonderful. They had lots of things for me to do but my favorite was constructing a house. Check out all the fun things I did!

To top off our stay in Seattle Mommy took Daddy and me to the top of the Space Needle for our first time. I couldn't believe how tall it was! Wow, it was really fun going to the top.

Kitchen Remodel

Life has been a little crazy at the Quinsey household the past two weeks. Mom and Dad decided to remodel the kitchen and our house has been chaos since. It's been pretty exciting for me and I especially loved the demolition day. The guys gutted the entire kitchen in 3 hours. We got our new cabinets installed and on Wednesday we get new countertops. Mommy had to set up her temporary kitchen in the garage. She still manages to make some yummy dinners for Daddy and me but she comes in looking like an icicle. I guess working in a 35 degree kitchen is just not warm enough for her. Here are a few pictures of our progess with the kitchen so far.
