Meet my Family

I have decided that it is time to start introducing you all to my family. I am so blessed to have lots of family who love me very much. Unfortunately I haven't met Daddy's side of the family yet but Mom and Dad are talking about a trip to Montreal sometime next year. I will start with my Great Grandparents.

Here I am with my Great Grandma Small on Thanksgiving.

And here I am with my Great Grandpa Small last Sunday. He lives in a rest home but sometimes gets to come home for family gatherings. It was great to see him and he really liked holding me.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! This year I am going to my Grandpa and Grandma Small's house for dinner. My Auntie Cheyanne will be there and my Great Grandma Small. I am really excited for my first Thanksgiving but a little sad that I only get to look at all the food but not have any. Somehow that seems completely unfair but Mom said that next year she will fix me a very yummy turkey dinner. I guess I just have to wait until then.

Here is a another fall photo shoot that Mom took of me in the front yard.

So guess what my mom did this time for a photo prop??? Give up? She stuffed me in her roasting pan, surrounded me with vegetables and took pictures of me as though I was her little thanksgiving turkey. Is someone going to help me out here!!!!!!!! What will she think of next?

Veteran's Day Storm

November 12th proved to be a very exciting day for Mommy and me. We woke to the wind blowing so hard we thought our house might blow away. Mom kept watching the trees in our backyard and I could tell she was a little bit scared. Then around 9:00 we heard a funny noise and saw our neighbor come running over to our house. Mom and I went to the kitchen window only to see tree branches obstructing our view. Yep, a cedar tree fell in our backyard. It fell parallel to our house so there was no damage and Mom and I were very happy about that. Then our power went out. Mom cuddled me in blankets and sang to me but a couple of hours later the house was getting cold and Mom was worried about the other trees falling on our house so we went to my Auntie Stefanies for the afternoon. It was a little scary but I just kept smiling and trying to reassure Mom that we would be just fine.

That afternoon I had my four month check up with Dr. Binder. I smiled a lot for him and he said that I am a very healthy little boy. I now weigh 13 pounds 15 ounces and still measure 23 1/2 inches long. After the doctor left the nurse came in a gave me four shots. Ouch, does that ever hurt!! I let out a big scream and cried for a couple of minutes but Mommy sang me a Christmas song and I felt better. For those of you who don't already know, my Mom listens and sings Christmas carols year around. My first word just might be "Christmas"

Here are some pictures of our tree .

Trick or Treat

My first Halloween was spent mostly at home in my nice warm house but Mom did take me out earlier in the week to visit my family. She dressed me up in a lion costume which was actually quite comfy. Everyone thought I was pretty cute. Here are a few photos of me.

Here is a picture of me at my Grandma Porter's house with my new stuffy named Spooky. This is my Uncle Brian and me.

This is the outfit that my Uncle Brian and Auntie Pam got me. I wore it to daycare and my little friend Mackenzie thought I looked cute. Okay, maybe this isn't the best picture of me but I really did look cute. I just wasn't in the mood for another picture. I'm going to be blind by the time I am one if my keeps taking so many photos of me.
